When I was pregnant with my first child at 21, I watched my body change in ways I never expected.
One of those changes?
Callused feet.
I remember looking down and thinking…
These look familiar.
As a little girl, I used to stare at my parents’ feet.
“Mine will never look like that.”
I was so sure.
And yet…
There I was.
Buying every gadget that promised smoother feet.
Some made a mess.
Some hurt.
Most ended up forgotten in a drawer.
As my pregnancy progressed, bending over became harder.
Reaching my feet became harder.
The routine became harder.
So I searched for what seemed obvious.
A waterproof, fully automatic, hands-free foot scrubber I could simply use while showering.
To my surprise…
It didn’t exist.
So I stopped looking.
And I started building.
I wasn’t trying to invent another foot scrubber.
I was trying to make foot care something people would actually keep doing.
That idea became Tootsie™.
