Let’s look around for a second.
Almost everyone has gross feet.
Dry heels.
Calluses.
Cracks.
Rough skin.
You see them everywhere.
But then something weird happens.
We get invited to a wedding.
A vacation.
A pool party.
A beach.
Someone’s house where shoes come off.
And suddenly…
Gross feet aren’t acceptable anymore.
So what the hell is everyone doing?
Because we’ve tried the gadgets.
The rollers.
The files.
The stones.
The little electric things that sound like a dentist’s office.
And honestly?
Most of them suck.
They’re awkward. They’re messy. They’re easy to forget about.
And then there’s the other option:
Go get a pedicure.
Once a month.
$80.
Forever.
For your feet.
That seems a little absurd.
So we started wondering:
Is there really no ridiculously simple way to take care of your feet at home?
Something you could use regularly.
Something that actually fits into your life.
Something that doesn’t require making an appointment, sitting in a salon, or performing some kind of bathroom-floor gymnastics.
That question is why Tootsie exists.

The lady who dropped out of university on a whim and spent all her savings to pursue her dream of feet.

Her dream was to file them.

An idea so obvious, it could slap you in the face, so no one bothered doing it…
Except for her.

When I was pregnant with my first child at 21, I watched my body change in ways I never expected.
One of those changes?
Callused feet.
I remember looking down and thinking…
These look familiar.
As a little girl, I used to stare at my parents’ feet.
“Mine will never look like that.”
I was so sure.
And yet…
There I was.
Buying every gadget that promised smoother feet.
Some made a mess.
Some hurt.
Most ended up forgotten in a drawer.
As my pregnancy progressed, bending over became harder.
Reaching my feet became harder.
The routine became harder.
So I searched for what seemed obvious.
A waterproof, fully automatic, hands-free foot scrubber I could simply use while showering.
To my surprise…
It didn’t exist.
So I stopped looking.
And I started building.
I wasn’t trying to invent another foot scrubber.
I was trying to make foot care something people would actually keep doing.
That idea became Tootsie™.
Because I believe foot care shouldn’t be another chore.
It should happen while you’re already in the shower.
